STEVE TURNER started on the bandstand as a young musician with his Dad, Ken Turner who was a celebrated band leader in Blackpool in the days of the dance bands. Steve is an accomplished slide, lap steel and guitar player. He has featured on tours, gigs and recordings with many artists like the great Kirsty MacColl, Ralph McTell, Pete Murphy, Lloyd Green, Billy Jo Spears, Howard Hughes and TWA, and Kneehigh Theatre. Steve joined Rick, his long time gigging associate, way back with Greased Lightnin' and later they formed Ricky’s Red Rockers. They both also helped Jean-Patrick Capdevielle get his album to No. 1 in France, and Bunk Dogger and the Dogs, have a high chart single in UK. Steve also teaches music, recently completing a BA degree in Jazz.
RICK WORTHY has worked in theatre with Footsbarn, Orchard Theatre, Liverpool Everyman, The Theatre Royal Plymouth, The Hub Theatre School and The Barbican Theatre, Plymouth as an actor, singer and director. He has appeared in countless TV shows and the odd film. He was a founder member of Charlie and The Wideboys on ABC/Anchor Records, and played with Steve in Bunk Dogger and the Dogs for RCA, Greased Lightnin', Ricky’s Red Rockers and Jean - Patrick Capdevielle. He has now teamed up with Steve Turner again and is the singer with The Bucket Boys. Rick also organises events and festivals, notably The Port Eliot Lit Fest in Cornwall.
Drummer WILLIE WILSON was also with The Sutherland Brothers and Quiver. His early work had been with Cochise, who produced two fine albums, before he moved on to Quiver. After SBQ, Willie worked with the touring version of Pink Floyd, performing on the concerts and film sound track of “The Wall”, as well as playing on David Gilmour's first solo album and on the most recent “On an Island”. He has also performed with Lonnie Donegan, Syd Barrett, Hank Wangford, Joe Brown and Ralph McTell. More recently, he worked with The Coyotes, an award winning country music band. He has now teamed up with Tim Renwick again in The Bucket Boys.
Tim Renwick has become well known for his work as studio session guitarist and sideman. A founder member of Quiver, who later joined forces with The Sutherland Brothers, he had his first UK record success with `Lying in the arms of Mary` (along with Willie on drums). Tim quit the band in `77 to pursue his own freelance career. Since then has accompanied numerous artists on record and concert platform including Al Stewart (`Year of the Cat` and 7 albums), Elton John, Eric Clapton, Mike Oldfield, Dionne Warwick, Roger Waters, Tom Jones, Mike & the Mechanics and extensively with Pink Floyd - over 300 stadium shows worldwide and all live recordings/broadcasts from `87 to `Live 8` in Londons` Hyde Park in `05.

Chris Duddle on string bass is the new addition to the Bucket Boys. Chris stepped in after Tim’s bizarre gardening accident put him out of action for several months. Chris is still here and The Bucket Boys have that bull-fiddle bottom end.
Chris has been the driving rhythm of many respected bands since 1967, borrowing a Hofner Violin bass for his first gig with “Shades of Blue Agamemnon” when the band name was the best part of the act. Since then, he's played with The Grit Band, Razzamatazz, Stagefright, Samoa, Wamma Jamma, Black Cat Bone, The Flying Tigers and The Hothouse Playboys. Steve Turner has been a major influence in Chris’s musical career involving him in numerous projects, sometimes with thirty minutes notice, always with those comforting words “Don’t worry, you’ll be alright.”
